Heya, I'm Ellie and I am a work in progress.
Hi there, I'm Ellie - a woman on a journey of self-growth and discovery. I wear many hats including being a daughter, wife, and mother to two toddlers, Georgia and Tommy, as well as a devoted dog mom to Sonny. I'm also a registered nurse, an author, and a leader who is passionate about supporting women on their own personal journeys.
As someone who deeply values courage, I've learned that growth and connection are essential to a fulfilling life. That's why I founded the Island Village Women's Circle in 2019, to provide a safe and supportive space for local women to connect, grow, and deepen their relationships with themselves and each other.
Through our retreats and sessions, I guide women through self-enquiry activities and discussions that foster personal growth and help us build stronger connections with one another. As a woman of the land, I know the importance of a nurturing and supportive community, and I'm dedicated to helping women create that for themselves. Join me on this journey of self-discovery and growth - I can't wait to connect with you!
Women's circles
It is my mission to ensure each woman entering my circle feels safe and supported. Circles are a way of connecting to our roots and ancestral way of life through learning, sharing stories, passing on wisdom, guiding and supporting one another.
This is a three-month bundle, with structured content, delivered over five gatherings (4 face-to-face & 1 via Zoom), delving into personal growth through thought provoking questions and meaningful discussions, activities and grounding into our bodies.
It is my intention that we have fun amongst our deep conversations and vulnerable shares- we don't have to be all-consumed by the hustle of everyday modern life.
These gatherings are to hold each other in our discomforts and joys so that we can thrive as humans and simultaneously feel all the feelings necessary for growth, expansion and healing.

What's included?

What you need to know:
• Bring your yoga mat and/or a cushion to sit on. • Bring your water bottle. I will provide black and herbal teas and a light snack. • Please ensure you arrive 5 - 10 minutes prior to the start time so that we can get comfy with a cuppa and cover everything in the allocated time.

Where can I get accommodation?
I recommend 'The Waterfront'. It has very limited rooms, but it is only a 2-minute walk from out workshop venue.
Where do I park?
There is ample free parking in the carpark at The Watershed.
What if I have dietary requirements?
If you have any dietary requirements, please advise us when you receive you confirmation email.
What do I need to bring?
You will receive a list of what to bring in your confirmation email. You will need a yoga mat, a coat/ blanket, water bottle and your most creative self, your camera for the 'photography basics' session.
What age and ability will this cater for?
Ages 16+.
Disabled parking and toilets available.
Yoga can be altered to suit your ability.

Women's Circles
What will be involved in the circles?
The circle gatherings go for two hours and are made up of two parts.
Part 1- structured and guided discussion with encouraged participation.
Part 2- an activity based on the theme of the gathering.
Is this an online container?
These are in-person sessions. However, I am aiming to have this as an option in the future.
Who will the guests educators be?
At the beginning of each container I will introduce the my guest. Some examples are; women’s health, movement, photography, art and many more. Special requests welcome and encouraged.
I would like to try a session casually, can I do this?
- If you have NEVER attended an Island Village Women’s Circle before, you will be welcomed into the first gathering of the container for FREE.
This means that if you decide it’s not for you, no problem and no fee.
- If you decide you want to complete the container, you will be given a discount code to register within 24 hours at a discounted rate.
What is my financial exchange?
A one-off payment of $148.00 for the entire container.
Can I join mid-container?
As the aim for a container is to build intimate connections, I will not be offering mid-container registrations.

- Creative Odyssey tickets are non-refundable due to change of heart of participant. Cancellation due to government restrictions or lockdowns and health requirements is considered.
- Women's Circle tickets are free for first circle if you've never attended before.
- Refunds are not considered if you have attended one or more full priced circles.
- Please don't attend it you have Covid-19 and contact Ellie.
- Tickets are non-refundable when cancellation is less than 48hours prior to event.
- If you are unable to come, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person.
